Preparing Files
Below you'll find all the information required to set up your artwork. You'll also find a selection of templates available for download - these will save you valuable time as well as ensuring your artwork is print ready.
That said, should you have any questions or prefer for our graphic designers to take care of setting up your files, just let us know.
How to Prepare Your File
- Create Your document layout
- Design your document 1-up
- Application page size should equal the dimensions of the final trimmed piece
- Extend colours/images 3mm beyond final trimmed size for full bleed documents
- Colours must be defined in CMYK mode
If Supplying Scanned Images
- All scans must be converted to CMYK
- To ensure enhanced color matching please work with this colour setting
- Resolution should be equal to 300dpi
- Save as JPG, EPS or TIFF format
If Using a Vector Graphics Application
- Colours must be defined in CMYK mode
- To ensure enhanced color matching please install this colour setting
- Save as EPS or PDF format
- Outlining your fonts is recommended

Preferred File Formats and Applications
- PDF - THIS IS OUR PREFERRED FILE FORMAT
- Adobe Illustrator CS (ai, pdf, eps) (outlined fonts preferred)
- Adobe Photoshop & Other Raster Image Formats (PSD, TIFF, JPG, EPS)
- Adobe InDesign (please preflight and package)
You can create your large format printing file at a reduced percentage and specify what your final size should be. See our Magnification chart for more details.

NOTE: Files that are not received in the correct manner may need to be charged a file set-up fee of $110. You will be contacted if this is the case. We cannot ensure deadline will be met when file is not correct.
